Debutante director Sakthi Paramesh has failed to give proper
treatment to the film in spite of having good storyline. Hero of
the film Sathyaraj’s double meaning dialogues and weak
screenplay are a let down, as they failed to provide any logic.
He has gone overboard at times in doing the character and
spoiled the spirit of the film with lengthy dialogues.
Sathyaraj is seen with different costumes in this film too. He
dresses as a police officer, like Michael Jackson and many more
but they don’t match at all. Vivek along with Venniradai Murthy
and Shakeela speaks lots of double meaning dialogues. In fact,
Vivek should have chosen a better role.
In the film, Manickam (Sathyaraj) dresses like a sardar and
kidnaps Mano's (Abbas) girl friend Divya (Susan). Mano tries to
find out his lover’s whereabouts but Manickam escapes every time
by putting on confusing dresses. Aruchamy (Vivek), a suspended
police inspector from Pondicherry
comes to the rescue of his friend Mano in tracing his lover. He
works as a Manickam’s lorry cleaner and spot Divya’s hiding
place.
But when Aruchamy and Mano enter the house with the police,
Divya confesses that she doesn’t know Mano and has married
Manickam. This shocks Aruchamy and Mano’s world. But Aruchamy
later comes to know the truth behind all these incidents.
Manickam's wife Ramya (Pranathi) was run down by drunken Mano’s
car. But Mano concealed the incident by using wealth and money.
So, Manickam and his sister-in-law Divya are doing their bit to
teach Mano a lesson of his life.
Hero Sathyaraj looks weak and tired in
the film. All his actions and behaviors are
predictable. On the other hand, Abbas has a good role in the
film. Susan and Pranathi are also fine. Vivek often goes
overboard with double meaning dialogues but still he is the only
saving grace of the film. There is nothing special in the
technical aspects too. On the whole, the film is a failure. The
director should have put more time on the script.
